Welcome to the website of Eastern Illinois University's Delta Lambda chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Colonized in March 31, 2007 and became an official chapter in May 16, 2009. Currently the 5th largest fraternity and the top Chapter in grades here at EIU.
Sigma
Alpha Epsilon is the oldest and most successful fraternity in the
country. Founded on March 9th of 1856 it is the only fraternity to have
survived the civil war, and currently is the largest of all Greek letter
organizations as well. Fraternity life gives men a chance to develop
brotherhood between members, leadership skills, overall life skills,
networking opportunities and a chance to form a bond that is life long.
